The RN-BSN program has organized its framework around 4 significant roles of nursing. The framework is published in the University Catalog and your RN-BSN Student Handbook.

Organizing Framework of the RN to BSN Program. The program is designed to build upon knowledge acquired in diploma and associate degree RN programs and offers courses that develop registered nurses to be healthcare leaders, community collaborators, care managers, and contributors to the profession. These four roles provide the basis for the program outcomes.

 

Complete the following:

Using the assigned readings elect 2 of the roles from the RN-BSN organizing framework above, and discuss the professional responsibilities common for each role.

Provide examples from your professional nursing practice to support the 2 roles by identifying 2 different position/job descriptions in your facility that would embody those 2 roles. (Maxim Healthcare-Home health private duty nurse)

Be clear about how a nurse in that job description would physically demonstrate the role (see the Image above and the BSN Handbook).

Provide a reference citation(s) in the current APA format 7th ed from a credible published source no less the 5 years old; in addition to the BSN Handbook or University Catalog.
