DATA ANALYSIS: CORRELATIONS
For this Assignment, you complete the Correlation Statistics Worksheet, which gives you step-by-step instructions on how to conduct and interpret the finding of a Pearson correlation in SPSS. After you have conducted the descriptive statistic, write the results in APA format. An example is provided in the worksheet.

Worksheet Assignment
Run a correlation coefficient following the instructions in the textbook. The output of the test will provide you with the correlation coefficient. First check significance, and then check the number provided for Pearson Correlation. Write the results in APA format following the example below.
APA Write-Up Example
Pearson Correlations were conducted to see the relationship among different types of intimate partner violence (IPV) victimization. All correlations were statistically significant, revealing strong positive relationships between three different types of IPV. The strongest relationships were between psychological IPV victimization and physical IPV victimization (r = .551) and sexual IPV victimization (r = .495). Sexual IPV victimization was also significantly associated with physical IPV victimization (r = .492). The results indicate that when victims experience one type of IPV, they experience other types of IPV at the same time.
