INSTRUCTIONS: During the pandemic, some restaurants automatically included ″Gratuity″ in your bill. There was even a ″COVID-19″ fee included. I′ve seen ″suggested″ tip start at 15%. Patrons called foul on restaurants that automatically included these fees. I remember seeing posts on social media by dissatisfied patrons complain that tipping was getting out of hand and no longer seemed like a way to say ″thank you for wonderful service″ but rather a demand. After watching this video, answer the following questions. a) What are your thoughts about the video and the topic ″Tipping System″? You can respond as an employee and as a business owner. Are there pros and cons associated with this topic? Use your critical thinking skills. b) Do you believe ″The Tipping System″ causes more harm than good to the progress of increasing ″Minimum Wage″ within the hospitality industry?
