TOPIC: The effects of PTSD on Veterans after the fall of AfghanistanTurabian style for citation and notes must be usedUsing the topic you selected at the beginning of this course, write a complete rough draft for your final, 25-page research paper (students should read the description for the final research paper in Topic 8 before writing rough draft). Rough drafts need only be 15 pages long, but must include  

1) a minimum three-page section providing a historiographical literature review analyzing the major scholarly contributions relevant to your topic and explaining how your research advances the field, 

2) a minimum 1 page section providing a detailed explanation of the methods and theoretical frameworks you will draw on in your analysis of your topic 

3) a rough bibliography including both primary and secondary sources (10 sources minimum for the rough draft. You must include a minimum of 3 primary sources and a minimum of 4 secondary sources.). Your bibliography need not be annotated. Your rough draft must also propose an original thesis that advances the study of your topic.

Your research paper must be 100% original and should not be a continuation of any paper or topic you have written on in the program thus far. You must choose a new topic and write a completely new paper. Any attempt to recycle work from another course constitutes plagiarism and will be handled in accordance with the GCU guidelines on academic policies.
