Choose a position or role within an organization that you have worked in or are familiar with. With this role in mind, complete Parts I and II of the assignment as outlined below. 

PART I: Elements of a Recruitment Strategy                                                    (30 marks)

Using the material from Chapter 6 of your textbook as a guide, develop a comprehensive recruitment strategy for the role you have chosen. Your strategy should address each of the following elements:

·       Review the organization’s goals and objectives.

·       Establish a budget.

·       Establish a timeline.

·       Review the job description for your chosen role.

·       Review the factors that will enhance or detract from your organization’s attractiveness to job candidates.

·       Develop your selection criteria.

·       Develop a profile of your “ideal” candidate.

·       Develop and create a job advertisement and/or recruiting materials for this job.

PART II: Recruitment Sources                                                                              (10 marks)

After identifying the target applicant pool creating the job advertisement, choose the most appropriate recruitment method or sources for reaching potential job applicants. Discuss the following elements:

·       What factor(s) does the organization need to consider when choosing the most appropriate recruitment method? 

·       How do you think the organization should advertise the position? Identify the best way(s) to reach the target applicants for this job, and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of your choice(s).
