Self-Appraisal of Internship Experience

Self-Appraisal

At the first of a paper, compose an introductory paragraph about the paper. Remember that paragraphs must have at least 3 sentences. All APA 7th style papers must be double-spaced including the references. This paper is a self-assessment of your, 1) rapport and interactions with clients, the agency, and supervisor; 2) understanding of conceptualizing client cases; 3) the use of theory while working with real clients; 4) level of comfort in working with real clients; 5) your current strengths in the use of the theory and areas which could improve; and 6) all questions you may have about your performance at their agency, with clients, and with site supervisor(s). This is written in 1st person perspective unless you are citing something your site supervisor said (see APA personal communications. There will be no reference), or another source. If you a different source such as a book or article I require page numbers (or equivalent if source has no page numbers, i.e., section heading and paragraph number) on ALL citations including paraphrases (per instructor policies). Thank you.

Check spacing carefully: If you notice a gap between titles/headings and paragraphs, there is likely an additional space. If you “highlight” over the typed content and spaces, the Line and Paragraph spacing feature in the toolbar should identify 2 which means double space but look again…There may also be Remove Space, try it. After you type your information, do not forget to delete my instructions. Careful: When you are typing, other items will move. So, delete my instruction as you go, but leave the headings.

References

You may not have any references, but if you discuss something specific relative to theoretical

approaches or treatment, you will need to credit that source. BE SURE the References heading begins at the top of a separate page. A reference will begin on the left margin and subsequent lines of a reference will be indented.

GENTLE REMINDER: lines and existing content will move so before you save and submit in Bb, make sure your pages are clean and in order, and the References page shows the heading at the top of that page.

Check the title page and page 2, which is the beginning of the body of the paper.

Please use current APA style (7th ed.). You will need a Cover/Title Page and a Reference Page. Page Requirement (Body of paper): 3-5 pages.
