Summative Assessment: Recruiting and Retention Decisions

As a leader in business and industry, you will find yourself contributing to human resource decisions in your organization. Recruitment, retention, and employee diversity are often intertwined. 

In this case, you have been asked by your employer to assess the current state of recruitment and retention in the organization. Leadership wants to increase diversity across the organization. The goal is diversity in candidates and diversity of knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience. 

Your analysis will provide essential information for how to better situate the organization in a global marketplace. 

Note: Do not limit your thinking of diversity in terms of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability; instead, consider how this position will need to bring a diversity of knowledge, skills, abilities, etc. to the organization and the global work environment.

Write a 1,750- to 2,100-word analysis of the current state of diversity in the organization.  

Include the following in your analysis:
