Discussion

1. What type of decision maker are you?  How have your decisions guided you through life? Given what you have read about project management in the text and the PMBOK, what are some changes or improvements in your decision making, do you think you will have to make in order to be successful in project management?  Please explain in detail.

2.  Given what you have read in Chapter 2 and in the additional readings, what kinds of tools do you think you need in order to be successful in project management?  Don’t just think of tasks that someone could/would teach you.  Think broader and look at yourself overall, because in both chapters, the additional reading, and especially the 7th edition of the PMBOK there is a lot of content to indicate the breadth and specialization of project management requires more.  Please explain.
