· It is vital to separate the contemporary use of an image from what the original photographer intended. Discuss the photographer’s intention in creating a social document (or photojournalism) rather than being a work of “high art,” as defined by Hirsch (2024).
· Beauty isn’t the primary goal of a social document. Still, most famous photos have visual appeal. What is the appeal of your image?
· What is the subject matter, formal elements, and context of the photograph?
