documentation and bibliographic entry, word-processed (this should not be longer

than one page in length – ideally) the Assignment Link) For this assignment you

are going to take one of the sources (either an article or something you have

downloaded from the internet) you have gathered for the RESEARCH PROJECT

and complete the following:

• Indicate WHICH paragraph from that source you are going to paraphrase (only

ONE PARAGRAPH) • Paraphrase that ONE paragraph. (Remember: When you

paraphrase, you must understand the text before reproducing the ideas into your

words and style.) • At the end of your paraphrase, you will add the appropriate

parenthetical documentation.

• THEN you are going to take the same article that you used for the paraphrase

assignment, and this time you are going to SUMMARIZE the entire article. Be

sure to include the main idea from the article as well as any necessary details to

support that main idea. Also, make certain you include the parenthetical

documentation.

• Once you complete the paraphrase and summary– at the bottom of the page – you

will include the complete bibliographic entry in MLA fashion for that source. •

FINALLY, you will include a working link to the article at the end of the

bibliographic entry (the Works Cited entry.)
