For this assignment, you will compose an essay that includes the following:

· Describe four main conservation approaches. Give at least one example for each approach, and discuss how they relate to the ecosystems of wild animal species, forest and terrestrial species, and aquatic or marine species.

· Describe three renewable energy sources and the benefits and limitations of each of these sources to the environment.

· Describe three current sustainability strategies for each of the three resources of water, minerals, and energy.

· Describe two of the eight environmental policy principles designed to reduce environmental harm and encourage government legislatures’ environmental conservation laws and policies.

· Describe three of the Sustainability Dozen guidelines for living more sustainably. Provide at least one example of each guideline.

· Describe three ways that low-throughput economies work to produce environmentally sustainable human societies.

Begin with a strong introduction. Your essay should flow smoothly from topic to topic with thoughtful transitions.

Your essay must be at least four pages in length, not counting the title page or reference page. You must at least use your textbook and two scholarly sources from the CSU Online Library. Adhere to APA Style when constructing this assignment, including in-text citations and references for all sources that are used. For organization, be sure to use Level 1 headings in your paper for each of the six bulleted sections.
