The Topic is Reduce current tobacco use in adults
For Draft #1 here are the instructions 1-4:
- Title Page: (APA7 format)
- Summary/Abstract: Write at least a few sentences describing the topic you have chosen and what is currently in your HDIP.
- Create a Table of Contents in Word: We will learn how to do this in class if you do not already know, this will get updated throughout the semester
- Section Headers: Your paper will follow the format below:
- Introduction/Literature Review – why is this an important issue and what is known already? – cite sources, this should be a short literature review using 3 evidence based resources. (at the final paper you will have 6-10 articles)
- identify at least 2 SDOH/SEM areas that contribute to this issue
- Data sources: identify at least 2 data sources on your topic and describe them. These can be national data, study based data (from the literature) combined datasets, state or local datasets, international data (at the final paper you will have 5 -8 data sources)
- Introduction/Literature Review – why is this an important issue and what is known already? – cite sources, this should be a short literature review using 3 evidence based resources. (at the final paper you will have 6-10 articles)
- For the final paper you will also do the following:
- Recommendations: Identify at least one change to how data is collected and one policy or program that could address the issue.
- Conclusions: considering areas used in a SWOT analysis, how likely is it the recommendations could be implemented? What are your thoughts on addressing this issue?
