Please write a minimum
of 2 FULL pages

· I will grade your work on completeness. In other words, in your summary of the article, have you captured the main points presented in the article to demonstrate that you have fully read and understood the article.

· Proof read your paper – points will be taken off if there are multiple spelling and grammatical errors.

· Please be aware of and take steps to prevent accidental plagiarizing. My advice would be to not just slightly re-word what you’ve read, but instead, make note of the important points presented in the article, and then re-formulate that content in your own words (making your own connections, rather than just taking sentences and slightly changing them). Basically, aim to get the gist of what you’ve read and distill it into sentences that capture your own thought process, and therefore wording.

· Do NOT quotes and instead paraphrase what you’ve read in your own words.

Papers should be 2-4 double-spaced typed pages and include:

1. A summary of the article (i.e., Describe the main points of the article), AND

1. A critique of what you’ve read (e.g., Do you agree or disagree with what the author says? Have you learned information in this class or other classes that supports or refutes what they say? Does this article relate to your major, your job, your personal interests?).

1. Make sure to submit a minimum of 2 full pages (which does not include your title or reference page; the minimum 2 pages needs to cover the summary of the article and your reflection/critique of the article).

The below information goes over which aspects of APA formatting I’d like you to include in your paper. If ANY of these criteria are not included in your paper, points will be deducted.

· Font must be Times New Roman, size 12 font.

· pages must be double spaced with no extra lines between paragraphs.

· one-inch margins

· Must contain the title of your paper in bold. Your name, the university, the class, the professor’s name, and the date centered in the middle of the page

· Title in Bold times new roman 12pt centered alignment before your first paragraph of your summary.

Title “References” In bold 12pt times new roman font centered alignment as shown in the red box above.

· Use hanging indent for citations.
