Library Assignment

Each second-year dental hygiene student in DHE 230 Oral Pathology will select one current (within the last 5 years) peered reviewed scholarly journal article, which pertains directly to

Oral Pathology or Oral Diseases
from a dental publication located in the Bard Library. He/she will write an informative summary or review of the journal article, critique the article, and include any pertinent information that has been learned about the subject in the class. The summary and critique portion for the article must be a minimal of 4 type written pages in length, using Time Romans, double-spaced, and a font of 12. This critique must be in APA format and should have a reference page that includes the name of the journal article and any other sources that you used or cited in the paper. The topic headings must include the following: Name of Journal, Year & Volume, Title of Article, Author (include a background summary), Purpose, Summary, Critique and Conclusion.
