Unit VII Assignment.

Research Detective: Uncovering the Secrets of Peer-Reviewed Research Articles

The objective of this assignment is to develop your critical thinking skills, research analysis abilities, and presentation skills. You will analyze and present a peer-reviewed research article of your choice.

Article Selection and Analysis

  • Select a peer-reviewed research article involving a topic that interests you. The article should have a minimum of 10 pages and must have been published within the last 5 years.
  • Critically analyze your chosen article by describing the research question, methodology, data analysis, results, and conclusion. Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the research in a minimum 2-page paper.

Poster Design and Deliberation

  • Next, create a visually engaging and informative digital research poster summarizing the key aspects of the article you selected.
  • Sections to be included in the poster are:
    • Research Question,
    • Methodology,
    • Key Findings,
    • Strengths,
    • Weaknesses, and your own critique.
  • This Poster Example document provides guidance for creating your poster, but you are encouraged to use your creativity to design an original poster that reflects how you want your information to look rather than just being a copy of the example.
  • You can use PowerPoint or Word to create your poster, or you can search online for other free software options.
