You are working as a case manager at a community service organization. One of your colleagues, Jason, has been consistently interrupting you during team meetings, often dismissing your ideas without proper consideration. This behavior is not only frustrating but also undermines your contributions to the team. You want to address this issue to foster a more supportive and cooperative work environment. Using the NOHS ethical standards of responsibility to colleagues, reflect on the following questions and share your thoughts:

· Discuss the approach for a conversation with Jason to address the issue constructively.

· Discuss the steps you would take to resolve the conflict with Jason in a way that aligns with the NOHS ethical standards.

· Evaluate the strategies you can use to ensure the discussion remains respectful and focused on finding a solution.

· Identify the importance of recognizing and valuing each team member’s contributions.

· Demonstrate some ways of appreciation for Jason’s contributions, even while addressing the conflict.

· Collaborative problem solving involves encouraging both parties to contribute ideas for resolving the conflict. Discuss some actionable steps for you and Jason to take moving forward to improve your working relationship and promote a positive team dynamic.
