The Connection Between Language and Culture – As Nelson Mandela once famously said, “If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.” The languages we speak are deeply connected to our psychological being, which is largely a product of the cultural milieu in which we grew up. In this video, we’ll look at some examples of this intertwined and vital relationship between language and culture!
