1.
Stakeholders include parents, community leaders, business partners, teachers, district leaders, and all staff members, all of whom play a crucial role in the success of educating children and driving positive changes within the school district. Stakeholders help with educational change by assisting in the decision-making process, providing support and resources for schools and staff, and aiding in the implementation of the changes. Top level leaders like superintendents and school board members make sure educational changes align with the district’s goals and vision, meet community needs, and most importantly, student needs. According to Fullan (2016), superintendents make key decisions, help resolve conflicts, and support the growth of principals, teacher leaders, and school board members. Superintendents and the school board, create and implement policies, follow state and federal educational guidelines, and allocate funding. Funding can become an issue if the two parties do not agree on the amount allocated for implementing the change.
