In this assessment, you will complete the Purpose Statement and Goal and Objectives, Proposed Deliverables, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Community Value, Facility, Governmental Regulations Technology, and Human Resources sections.

Address the following sections of your proposal in 1,050–1,400 words total:

Purpose Statement and Goal and Objectives

  • Develop a succinct purpose statement that explains your Capstone proposal’s intention.
  • Develop a goal with at least two related objectives for your proposal.

Proposed Deliverables

  • Describe the services, products, and/or proposal deliverables that will be provided.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship

  • Analyze how the proposal is innovative and entrepreneurial.

Community Value

  • Analyze how the proposal will deliver value to the community and patient population (including the underserved).
  • Analyze how concerns about cultural needs and differences, race, and language barriers will be met.

Facility

  • Describe any site or facility needs.

Governmental Regulations

  • Identify any governmental regulations, legislative mandates, or advocacy processes that will impact the proposal implementation or organization. Consider the following aspects:
  • organizational dynamics, policies, and culture
  • staffing, planning, and feasibility
  • Identify any changes that need to occur to the proposal to align it to these regulations.

Technology

  • To implement the proposal, explain the needed IT requirements for patient care, operations, financial management, business continuity, and data decision making.

Human Resources

  • Describe the staffing needs of the Capstone proposal, including:
  • Staff required to operate the proposal, including physicians, nurses, receptionists, and other support staff.
  • Research and apply any recommended standards for physician, clinician, and support staff ratios.
  • Describe strategies for recruitment, training, and performance appraisal needed to implement the proposal.
