You will create two concept maps using PowerPoint. You will need to use slide notes to expand upon the topics of your concept maps. The goal is to create a visualization of your responses to the prompts listed below. Keep it simple and readable. You may search the internet to find examples of concept maps to inspire you. If you have questions or need assistance creating a concept map, please reach out to the CSU Writing Center and review the Mind Mapping guide and the PowerPoint Basics tutorial.

Imagine you are a manger presenting to your team about the roles of certain employees and entrepreneurs. You decide to create a concept map infographic for each of these two topics.

  • Slide 1: In this infographic, depict the duties and responsibilities of a human resources team member. Include the effects on globalization on their work environment.
  • Slide 2: In this infographic, label characteristics and types of entrepreneurs. Include identifying importance of entrepreneurship and small businesses in society. Identify the challenges of entrepreneurship.

In the slide notes, explain your infographics and the topics in detail as if you were presenting them.
