The Future of Work in the Saudi Mining Industries, with a focus on digitization and
automation’s impact on jobs, workforce skills requirements, and companies’
strategies for managing transition, is both timely and relevant.
Starting my Research:
1. Scope and Objectives: aspects of digitization and automation, such as ACSs, AI,
robotics, or IoT in the mining industry will focus on.
2. Conduct a Literature Review: Looking for existing research papers, journal articles, and
industry reports on digitization and automation in mining to understand the current state of
knowledge and identify any gaps the project could fill.
3. Identify Key Themes: Based on the literature review, identify key themes you will explore
in your project, such as technology adoption, changes in skill requirements, and
organizational strategies.
