Read the articles “Instilling Hope” and “Hope for the Hurting: Strategies for School Counselors Working With Heartbroken Students” located in the Topic 6 Resources. As professional counselors, we are committed to acting with purpose and intention. Furthermore, we should be purposeful in using evidence-based practice as we work with our clients to affirm their resilience and empower them to face their life-challenges with hope leading to action. Refer back to your theories course and identify 1-2 counseling theories/models that you aligned most with and can see yourself using in practice.
