discussion

For this discussion, you will consider your response to your final reflection essa(y) including the source you have found to extend your primary essa(y) themes and ideas.

Initial Post (250 words total for both paragraphs):

First, search the
KU Online Library to find a source that supports the primary theme in the essa(y) you have been writ(ing) about. It may be helpful to review the Week 3 Study & Learn Module regarding “Researching in the Library”.

Using the
source that you select, identify a specific piece of evidence (a quote or paraphrased idea) and incorporate that in your paragraph.

Be sure to include a
signal phrase to integrate the evidence into your wri(ting) and an
in-text citation.

Finally, include a
reference for that source in APA format at the bottom of your initial discussion post.

This reference must contain a link to the KU library; outside sources will not be given credit.

Paragraph 1:

You are currently working on your week 4 final refection essa(y). Write a
paragraph which includes the source that you found in the Keiser library. This will be used as paragraph 4 in your reflective essay.  Refer to Chapter 54 in
The Norton Field Guide to Writ(ing).

· Make sure to include a paraphrased or a direct quote, but it should include a signal phrase (see R-4 in
The Little Seagull for a list of signal verbs).

· Include an APA in-text citation.

· Write 5-8 detailed sentences in your paragraph explaining how this sources supports OR challenges information provided in the essa(y) that you analyzed.

Paragraph 2:

In a second paragraph, describe your research methodology.

· What search term did you use?

· What was the biggest challenge?

· What worked well?

· What did you learn for future research studies?

Your initial Response should be at least 250 words in total.
