For your research, you should conduct brief online searches and (optionally) consult textbooks if you find it beneficial, and sources need to be cited at the end.  Use Times New Roman and space all your writing with 1.15.  Use a presentation format for your work and use the outlined instructions for your format. 

  1. Compose a brief (one paragraph) introduction on how you understand the Old Testament’s meaning for Christians.
  2. Offer three to five examples with short descriptions for each.
  3. Include photos, art, websites, video/audio links, charts, etc.  Anything that helps tell the story of the particular book in celebrating the holiday.  You could include these within the outline format (b)
  4. Write a short conclusion (one paragraph) where you describe how Jews or Christians relate to the Bible (Hebrew Bible/Old Testament) in general.
  5. List sources used in your research: books, liturgies, websites, magazines, journals, interviews, etc.

Submission Instructions:  

  • The paper is to be clear and concise, and students will lose points for improper grammar, punctuation, and misspelling.
  • The paper is to be no shorter than 2.5 pages in length and no more than 3 pages in length, not including visuals. The student will automatically lose points if these limits are not followed.
  • Journal articles and books should be referenced according to the current APA style (the library has a copy of the APA Manual).
